Our Story

Some of the fondest memories of my childhood were spent on my grandfather's olive grove by the Mediterranean, and at my family's farm in the deep south. They provided my brother and me with endless hours exploring acre upon acre of beautiful farmland, and gave me the foundation for my respect of nature. My life has truly been enriched by the value and importance of simple gifts from the land.

In Sabrata, the breeze from the Mediterranean Sea swept the fragrance of flowers and herbs across the landscape, and on Violetta the crops of vegetable and berries sprouted with abundance from the earth, providing my family and many generations before us with the freshest and most delicious of nature's offerings.

As a child I often overlooked these gifts, but as a woman and a mother, I've come to embrace the value of nature's goodness and its contribution to wellness.

When I became pregnant with my daughter Maia, I started a loved filled extensive research into the products used by pregnant women and babies. My desire to give my daughter the very best led me to make my own products by using only the purest and most effective of essential oils, herbs and minerals, After Maia was born, I was able to use these simply natural formulas with such amazing results that I knew I had to share them with you.

I have chosen the name Sweet Olive for my products because it invokes in my memory the majesty and beauty of the Olive tree, with its branches filled with fruits shading the grove like a parent protecting their child.
